Poem: Waiting Rooms

Waiting rooms,
Time ticking,
Sitting in liminality,
In complete present,
Without future or past’s shadow.
Names called,
Others come and go,
Still awaiting the moment of calling.
Once the words spoken,
Rise and go.
A door opened now closes.
